Hairdressing Apprenticeship
At Katrinas School of Beauty we offer a Certificate III in Hairdressing. This comprehensive course is a 40 week course designed to equip graduates with the practical skills to and greatest career opportunities to work within the Hairdressing industry.
The Certificate III in Hairdressing is studied over 40 weeks, during which graduates will learn the skills needed to provide a full range of hairdressing services including client consulting, hair cutting, colouring, styling, hair and scalp treatments and much more.
Description
Katrinas School of Hair and Beauty offers classroom training model of delivery to students who are an Apprentice. You will have fully supervised, personalised hands on training from experienced trainers. Structured lessons, time frames and unlimited support help our apprentice students gain the skills required for their salon qualification.

Practical Experience
Our student clinic will allow you to practice your skills on a variety of different clients under the supervision of your trainer. You will learn core competencies as well as a number of chosen elective subjects including:
- Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices
- Provide shampoo and basin services
- Colour and lighten hair
- Provide full and partial head highlighting treatments
- Neutralise unwanted colours and tones
- Provide on scalp full head and retouch bleach treatments
- Design haircut structures
- Create one length or solid haircut structures
- Maintain and organise tools, equipment and work areas
