We understand that as a prospective student, you may have many questions regarding eLearning and Katrinas commitment to upholding the highest standard for our students. Below we answer some of the most common questions and hope to clarify any of these concerns!
Are Katrinas eLearning courses nationally recognised?
Yes! Katrinas School of Beauty is proud to be a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). All qualifications including eLearning qualifications are nationally recognised.
Does Katrinas School of Beauty offer students a fee payment plan?
Yes, we offer all eligible students a number of interest free payment plan options.
How will I be assessed on my chosen courses?
You will be assessed continuously during your course through a variety of written and practical tasks, and by also providing treatment evidence to demonstrate your competency. You will complete theory quizzes and record evidence of treatment for the practical aspects of the course via learning journals and assignments.
To gain final competency you will be required to complete a final assessment on campus at our Morayfield campus.
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy students will need to attend a two week block on campus at the end of your course
- Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy student require a 5 – 8 day attendance
- Certificate III in Nail Technology students will be required to attend a 3 – 4 day final block
- Certificate III in Beauty Services students require a 5 day attendance
What do my course fees include? Do I need anything else?
Our eLearning course fees include your tuition and access to the eLearning course. The Diploma of Beauty Therapy fee includes all learning resources needed for completion of your course.
Certificate III in Nail Technology may require you to purchase additional learning resources for practical subjects.
Do I need to purchase additional text books to complete my online course?
No. You will not need to purchase any other text books. Katrinas School of Beauty provides all students with the necessary study information throughout the chosen course.
What Internet & Computer requirements do I need for eLearning?
A computer with internet access and the latest Flash Player, plus one of the following browsers:
Windows: Internet Explorer 6 and later, Firefox 1.x and later, Safari 3 and later, Google Chrome, min Opera 9.5
Mac: Safari 3 and later, Firefox 1.x and later, or Google Chrome
Do I need to complete any practical
hours in salon?
Our eLearning courses do not require any salon placement.
