Our Katrinas Nail Technology course is a 20 week nationally recognised qualification. Study alongside state of the art learning resources and leading educators. This course provides students with thorough training in both theory and practical areas of nail technology.
Delivered as a blended course you will learn how to provide excellence in service, deliver manicure and pedicure treatments, learn how to apply acrylic and gel nail enhancements, refine your nail art skills, and many other subjects to become a creative and successful nail technician.
Learn to establish yourself as a qualified nail technician to gain employment in the thriving beauty industry. Nail technicians may also be self-employed and responsible for managing their own nail station.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as nail technicians to provide manicure and pedicare services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements. This course is an essential minimum requirement to work as a nail technician in Australia.
These individuals possess a range of well-developed technical and customer service skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own outputs.
Work is typically conducted in nail and beauty salons.
