At Katrinas School of Beauty we offer a Beauty Therapy Diploma that is unparalleled. This Beauty Therapy course is a 40 week course that is a nationally recognised qualification providing you with the greatest career opportunities in the industry.
It is an extensive course providing thorough training in both theory and practical areas of both nail, skin, beauty and body studies. During your course you will learn how to provide excellence in service, deliver body treatment and massage, perform advanced facial therapies, design and apply make-up, provide lash and brow treatments, perform waxing services and a wide range of other subjects to enable you to become a successful beauty therapist.
Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals employed as beauty therapists to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services. This includes consultation with clients to provide beauty advice, recommend beauty treatments and services, and sell retail skin-care and cosmetic products.
These individuals work relatively autonomously, and are accountable for personal outputs. Their work involves the self-directed application of knowledge and skills with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques.
Practical Experience
Our student clinic will allow you to practice your skills on a variety of different clients under the supervision of your trainer. You will learn how to run a clinic, grow in confidence as you learn to work with people to and provide them with treatments including:
- Full Body Wax & Expert Brow Shaping
- Lash & Brow Tinting and Enhancements
- Manicures and Pedicures
- Body massage
- Skin Science, Skin Biology, Nutrition, Physiology & Anatomy and the Chemical
Composition of Cosmetic Products - Advanced Facials, Peels & Microdermabrasion
